About Robert...
Robert George Baker Jr., born on December 25, 1944, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on April 16, 2015. Robert was born in Belleville, MI to Robert and Mildred Baker, and was the oldest of three children. Robert received his Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University where he was a member of the Marching Band as a talented trombone player. He became a Computer Programming entrepreneur, which provided a living for his family who he raised in Southern California. Robert was a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid pilot, and his passion for both hobbies were illustrated by his active involvement in many local groups that he both participated in and led, including the Coto Riders, So Cal Pilot’s Association, and the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 92, which catered to the Young Eagles introducing 8-17 year olds to aviation. In his 70 years of life, Robert always had a very strong Christian faith, and he was an active member of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest for roughly 24 years. His loving memory will be cherished by his survivors - wife, Sharon Baker; daughters, Natasha Brunstetter and Stephanie Jacobson; sons Robert George Baker III and Christopher Baker; step-daughters, Kristin Black and Jaime Riggs; mother, Mildred Baker; siblings, James Baker and Joan Vicary; and 7 grandchildren.
